Pet Parade

Saturday morning at 10:00 am bring your pet and join the fun for the 12th annual Pet Parade!
The 2015 theme is yet to be chosen… stay tuned… unleash your inner creative self and go wild dressing your cat, dog, hamster, bunny, horse and… yourself or the entire family! Join us for this feel good event that showcases the charm of our downtown, not to mention Tecumseh’s community spirit.
Pets and owners may gather at the First Presbyterian Church yard at the corner of North Pearl and Chicago Blvd. beginning at 9:15 am to get their registration number for judging. The parade will begin at 10:00 am. Pets and owners alike delight in parading down Chicago Boulevard, ending at Adams Park, located adjacent to City Hall. Once at the park, judges will deliberate and award prizes to the Judges Choice favorites – Four prizes will be awarded for the “Favorite Pet Costumes” with prizes that have been donated by Red Mill Pet Supply and Companion Animal Clinic. PLUS! This year as a fun twist Bad Hair Day? Salon & Spa has donated prizes to be given to the Judges Choice “Favorite Pet Owner Costume” winners. There is no registration fee, but we do ask that participants bring a can or bag of pet food that can be donated to local pets in need. Come on down and join the fun!!!
