Annual Halloween Camping Celebration
Shiver me timbers – it’s Halloween with a pirate party twist!
Everyone loves this time of year for the crisp fall air and cozy campfires but we take it up a notch and fill it with spooky fun and tons of treats! Halloween Camping at ICC has everything you could want:
People’s Choice Award Site Decor Contest Decorate your site sweet or spooky and see how many votes you can get. Winning sites get a camping gift certificate.
Pumpkin Contest Locally grown pumpkins sold at the camp store. Decorate or Carve your pumpkins and display them at your campsite for all to enjoy. Awards given for most impressive designs.
Costume Contest All ages are welcome to participate, including dogs! Join us at the Outdoor Stage to show off your costume. Many awards are given to the judges’ favorites including Pirate & Crew awards, Super Scary & Best Home-Made. Get creative and have fun!
Kid’s Haunted Hall and Scream House Each year the Rec Hall gets transformed into an impressive Haunted House featuring Glow Rooms, Animated Props and Actors. Kids hour is non-gory but it is still a haunted house and may not be suitable for all. Actors may chase you but will not touch. Get ready to scream! Entry $3 Kids Hour, $5 Scream House. Repeat entry discounts offered.
Games & Craft will be available for all to enjoy as well as a Halloween Movie Night.
Trick or Treat Saturday evening around the campground. Plan to bring enough candy for 100+ kids.
Family Activities & Adventure at ICC
Paddleboat and Kayak Rentals available daily 9am-7pm in the campstore (lifevest & adult supervision required).
Sports & Game Equipment, Nature Hunts & Coloring Pages available in the campstore.
Friday, 7:30pm Halloween Movie Night at the Rec Hall with $1 Popcorn
Saturday:
10am: Kids Pirate Craft – Rec Hall
11am: Zipline & Climbing Adventure Open (must reserve by Friday)
1pm: Kids Game
2pm: Pumpkin Bowling – near the basketball court
3pm: Terrainables Trail Ride – picks up at the playground
5pm: Costume Contest at the outdoor stage – all ages welcome including pets! Multiple awards & prizes!
6pm: Trick-or-Treat! Site – to – site, please refrain from driving between 6-7pm to keep everyone safe.
7pm-7:30pm: Kid Friendly Haunted House $3 per person. Appropriate for younger kids: Underwater Glow Room, Tunnels & Pirate Room. Repeat entry $1 off!
8-9pm: Scream House $5 per person. All ages enter if you dare! Outstanding haunted house with scary animated props and actors. Repeat entry $2 off!
All visitors are welcome to enjoy the campground activities with you, $5/person. If you bring additional families in for trick or treating, please remember to bring additional candy to share. Happy Halloween Camping!
