Great Lakes Trail Run – 5K

A unique 5K experience!

We are very excited for our annual Great Lakes Trail Run!  Hit the trails here at ICC to benefit the Alliance for the Great Lakes.  The Alliance will use the donation to help the effort of preserving Michigan beaches and fresh water for generations to come.

This 5K is unlike any other Trail Run around.  Now you can be a part of something great while enjoying your vacation!  Imagine running past your campsite while your friends and family cheer you on.  The race starts and ends in the campground including miles of family friendly trails.  Invite the whole family to join the race, there will be awards for Junior Racers (under 14), Young Adult Racers (15-35), Experienced Racers (over 36).

Water will be provided throughout the trail at check points courtesy of our generous sponsors and volunteers.  As well as sweet treats at the finish line.  Meet our Sponsors and keep up to date on the latest 5K information through the 5K Info Hub

Register now and save 10% off your campsite reservation (when paid together).  Register by July 14 to receive your free race shirt.  Race day registration welcome, camping not required.  Race registration $25/participant, includes shirt if registered by July 14.  Return registration and payment to camp office.

Thank you for taking part in such an important cause, not only to Michiganians but also to the world.  Remember, the Great Lakes are the worlds largest fresh water resource and it is our responsibility to be kind to it.  Spread the word!

Camping is not required to participate in this 5K; if not camping, the racer will receive one free spectator pass to give to someone.  All other spectators will be required to pay the visitor entrance fee to the campground.  Please register in advance by contacting the camp office.  Use the Registration Form Link above to print it and return to the campground.  Registration is complete upon receipt of payment.  Due to the nature of this event there will be no refunds provided.

Saturday:

9am Check-In for the 5K Begins (When you pull in the campground you will be directed to parking near the back of the campground.  Check-in desk is at the Pavilion.  Come early to Warm-Up and Mingle!)

10am Great Lakes 5K Trail Run Begins (register in advance, please)

Awards are presented immediately following the final racer crossing the finish line.
